Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 7.47% or 22.9 points to trade at 329.4 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.18% or 185 points to end at 8690 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 2.16% or 196 points to 9260 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 5.44% or 19.3 points to trade at 335.6 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 0.60% or 2.3 points to end at 382.7 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.54% or 1.7 points to 316.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 49 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.11% or 2.05 to $67.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.75% or 2.00 to hit $74.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.40 to trade at $1202.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.21% to 6.4333, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4583.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 95.03.
