Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 2.55% or 9.7 points to trade at 390.2 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 2.14% or 11.5 points to end at 550.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.85% or 240 points to 13220 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 3.86% or 26.5 points to trade at 660.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.05% or 3.9 points to end at 367.9 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.72% or 2.1 points to 287.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 97 to 31 and 9 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.50% or 0.73 to $48.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.73% or 0.90 to hit $51.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 3.06 to trade at $1290.94 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.3093, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 93.24.
