Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 6.75% or 25.5 points to trade at 403.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 3.55% or 6.0 points to end at 174.8 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 3.53% or 312 points to 9146 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which lost 2.41% or 7.8 points to trade at 315.4 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 2.03% or 7.9 points to end at 381.9 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.69% or 18.0 points to 1044.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 59 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.15% or 0.79 to $69.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.08% or 0.84 to hit $78.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 2.50 to trade at $1203.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.3923, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4603.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 94.18.
