Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Industrials, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 4.36% or 395 points to trade at 9465 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.64% or 350 points to end at 9956 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.84% or 6.5 points to 359.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 1.94% or 7.9 points to trade at 400.2 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 1.87% or 4.1 points to end at 215.4 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) shed 1.64% or 3.60 points to 216.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 57 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.66% or 0.45 to $68.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.37% or 1.01 to hit $74.80 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 5.80 to trade at $1317.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.27% to 6.1588, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 91.51.
