Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.71% or 24.0 points to trade at 1425.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 1.38% or 9.0 points to end at 661.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.59% or 1.7 points to 290.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 1.59% or 6.2 points to trade at 383.4 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.43% or 5.7 points to end at 392.1 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 1.32% or 5.3 points to 395.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 76 to 52 and 10 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.49% or 1.67 to $46.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.35% or 0.70 to hit $51.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.10% or 14.31 to trade at $1312.21 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 6.2118, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4393.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 92.18.
