Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.90% or 11.8 points to trade at 418.4 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.53% or 9.2 points to end at 372.8 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.56% or 5.70 points to 370.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.95% or 12.2 points to trade at 612.8 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 0.37% or 0.9 points to end at 242.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 0.37% or 1.2 points to 324.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 42 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.19% or 0.12 to $62.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.17% or 0.11 to hit $65.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.31% or 17.30 to trade at $1337.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.54% to 6.0059, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4499.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 89.58.
