Dec 10 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2100 GMT on Thursday:
** Phoenix Tower International is close to clinching a deal to buy the telecoms mast unit of Italy's EI Towers for some 500 million euros ($606 million) by the end of the year, a source with knowledge of the matter said. A trust associated with Oleg Tinkov, the founder of TCS Group TCSq.L , TCSGDR.MM , is selling a 4.6% stake in TCS through an accelerated book building, planning to raise around $300 million, a financial market source told Reuters. Boehringer Ingelheim is paying 1.18 billion euros ($1.5 billion) for Swiss-based NBE Therapeutics, the German drugmaker said, adding pipeline candidates including a drug in early trials against triple-negative breast cancer and lung cancer. Italy's Banco BPM BAMI.MI and BPER Banca EMII.MI are considering a possible merger with a view to reaching a deal in the first half of 2021, three sources familiar with the matter said. Italy's Banca Intermobiliare (BIM) BIM.MI said it was granted an exclusive period to negotiate a potential acquisition of financial consulting bank Banca Consulia. Siltronic WAFGn.DE said its management agreed to the takeover of the German silicon wafer maker by Taiwan's GlobalWafers 6488.TWO for 3.75 billion euros ($4.53 billion). Link Administration Holdings LNK.AX said it would give U.S. software firm SS&C Technologies Holdings Inc SSNC.O due diligence access, to better its A$3.02 billion ($2.25 billion) offer in the race to buy the shareholder registry firm. Gilead Sciences Inc GILD.O said it will acquire MYR GmbH for about 1.15 billion euros ($1.39 billion) in cash, giving it access to the German biotech company's treatment for a severe form of viral hepatitis. Sony Corp 6758.T will buy AT&T Inc (NYSE:T)'s T.N animation business Crunchyroll for $1.175 billion, the two companies said, as the Japanese electronics conglomerate aims to beef up its entertainment content and distribution businesses. Asaleo Care Ltd AHY.AX said a takeover bid by its largest shareholder Essity ESSITYb.ST offered a low premium to the hygiene and personal products maker's recent share prices. Telecom Italia (TIM) TLIT.MI has signed a preliminary agreement with BT BT.L to buy two of the British telecoms group's business units in Italy, the companies said in a joint statement. Gulf Oil International Ltd, part of the Hinduja group, said it has reached an agreement to acquire the lubricant blending plant and associated facilities from Singapore's Ocean Tankers Pte Ltd.
