July 10 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2000 GMT on Tuesday:

** Italian oil major Eni ENI.MI has pulled out of a race to buy Terra Firma's solar power assets in Italy, a company spokesman told Reuters. AT&T Inc (NYSE:T) T.N said that it has agreed to buy privately held Silicon Valley-based startup AlienVault, allowing the telecommunications giant to expand its line of cybersecurity products targeted at small and medium businesses. Chemical maker Tronox Ltd TROX.N said the U.S. Federal Trade Commission had filed a complaint against the company's pending acquisition of the titanium dioxide business of privately held Cristal. Thoma Bravo LLC has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Centrify Corp, according to people familiar with matter, adding to the technology-focused buyout firm's portfolio of cybersecurity companies. China Eastern Airlines Corp 600115.SS 0670.HK CEA.N plans to raise up to $2.23 billion in a share sale to expand its fleet and to replenish working capital, the company said in a filing to the Shanghai stock exchange. Toronto-Dominion Bank TD.TO , Canada's second-biggest lender by market value, said on Tuesday it would buy Greystone Capital Management Inc for C$792 million ($603.20 million). Ping An Insurance Group's 601318.SS unit is buying nearly a fifth of China Fortune Land Development 600340.SS for 13.8 billion yuan ($2.09 billion), in a vote of confidence in China's property sector amid a slowdown in the broader economy. SoftBank Group 9984.T is increasing its stake in Yahoo Japan 4689.T through a $2 billion, three-way deal with U.S. firm Altaba AABA.O to deepen ties with the internet heavyweight ahead of an IPO of its telecoms unit. Brazilian state-controlled oil company Petróleo Brasileiro SA PETR4.SA is close to agreeing the sale of its stake in an African venture for around $1.3 billion, newspaper Valor Econômico said. Nokia NOKIA.HE has signed a one billion euro ($1.17 billion) deal to support China Mobile 0941.HK , the Finnish network gear maker said. British social care services firm Cambian Group Plc CMBNC.L has received a takeover approach from rival CareTech Holdings Plc CTH.L that valued Cambian at 405.2 million pounds ($536.2 million), as CareTech aims to bolster its child care business. Australian retirement village owner Gateway Lifestyle Group GTY.AX rejected Hometown America's revised takeover bid offering A$695 million ($514 million) in cash, saying it was not in the best interest of the company and its shareholders. J.M. Smucker Co SJM.N said on Monday it would sell its U.S. baking business, which includes brands such as Pillsbury, Martha White and Hungry Jack, to private equity firm Brynwood Partners for $375 million. Australia's Mineral Deposits MDL.AX recommended shareholders accept a revised takeover offer from Eramet ERMT.PA , noting that the French company had built up a stake that made it the largest shareholder in the mineral sands producer. A final deal has been signed for the sale of German copper products company Mansfelder Kupfer und Messing (MKM) for 80 million euros ($94 million) to fellow German copper producer KME, MKM said. Japanese oil refiners Idemitsu Kosan 5019.T and Showa Shell (LON:RDSa) Sekiyu 5002.T> said they had agreed to merge on April 1 next year, after Idemitsu's founding family dropped its long-standing opposition to the plan. Martin Sorrell beat WPP WPP.L in the race to buy a Dutch digital agency on Tuesday, infuriating his former company and revealing the animosity raging between the two sides. Premier Foods investor Oasis Management has nearly doubled its share stake in the company ahead of a shareholder meeting next week at which it and a second major shareholder have called for the removal of Chief Executive Gavin Darby. Takeda Pharmaceutical Co Ltd 4502.T said it has received U.S. approval for its $62 billion acquisition of London-listed Shire Plc SHP.L , taking the Japanese firm one step closer to its goal of becoming a global top 10 drugmaker. China's Didi Chuxing signed an agreement with German automotive supplier Continental AG CONG.DE to cooperate in developing internet-connected, electric cars tailor-made for Didi's ride hailing services. The head of Fuji Xerox Co Ltd, the joint venture between Fujifilm Holdings Corp 4901.T and Xerox Corp (NYSE:XRX) XRX.N , said an escalating dispute between the partners will not lead to the venture's dissolution. Odebrecht SA is set to agree on the sale of its controlling stake in petrochemical firm Braskem SA BRKM5.SA to LyondellBasell Industries NV (NYSE:LYB) LYB.N by mid-October, newspaper Valor Econômico reported.
