ClearVue Technologies Ltd (ASX:CPV, OTCQB:CVUEF) executive chairman and founder Victor Rosenberg will retire and say goodbye to the company he has guided on March 15, 2023.
He will, however, continue as a non-executive director.
The move comes 12 years after CPV turned its focus to the development of its specialty glass coatings including its nano-particle interlayer to create its building-integrated photovoltaic solutions and 4½ years after it listed on the ASX.
Non-executive chairman John Downes will be appointed to the position of non-executive director after Rosenberg retires. He was first appointed to the board on October 18, 2021.
“Victor has made an enormous contribution to the success of ClearVue, and his drive and vision have put the company in the position where it is today," Downes said.
“We thank Victor for his outstanding service and commitment to the company and wish him the very best in his retirement. I am sure all shareholders will join me in a vote of thanks at our upcoming AGM.”
Downes brings another wise head to the lead
Downes is currently the global head of Façade Supply Chain at LendLease based in its London, office and brings around 30 years of experience in glazing and façade systems and construction management to the ClearVue board.
In his current role, he leads the unit that supports all façade related aspects of the global LendLease real estate construction, development and investment business.
ClearVue will now undertake a board review to expand the depth and breadth of its director skillsets and expertise to take the company into its next phase. This includes the search for a new CEO.
If by March 15, 2023, the company hasn’t appointed a CEO, the interim position will go to current CFO Jamie Lyford until an appointment is made.
