Catalina Resources Ltd (ASX:CTN) has tapped Michael Busbridge to replace outgoing technical director Davide Bosio, who resigned due to other professional commitments.
Busbridge has more than 40 years’ experience in the mining industry, having held managerial positions in Normandy Mining Ltd, Barrick Gold Australia and Teck Australia.
He has particular expertise in both precious and battery metals, including gold, nickel, copper, lead, zinc, lithium, rare earth elements (REEs) and graphite, having worked with this array of minerals throughout Australia.
Executive director Sanjay Loyalka has also made the move to executive chair, based on his ongoing leadership and executive management of the company and its exploration activities.
Catalina’s project portfolio
Catalina Resources holds assets in New South Wales, Tasmania, and Western Australia, targeting diversified mineral exploration and mine development.
In the Lachlan Fold belt of New South Wales, CTN is exploring for gold, copper, lead, zinc, silver and bismuth.
In Tasmania, the company holds an iron ore project that previously functioned as a direct shipping ore (DSO) operation, which Catalina intends to re-permit and resume mining from.
Finally, in Western Australia, CTN is searching for gold, REEs, nickel, and copper.
