Caspin Resources Ltd has made two key changes to its Board of Directors following the resignation of Cliff Lawrenson as a director and chair.
Justin Tremain has been appointed as non-executive chair while the company’s current CEO Greg Miles has been named managing director.
Lawrenson has advised the company that he has retired from the board in order to focus on his other roles which require an increasing amount of his time.
Retiring director thanked
The board thanks Lawrenson for his efforts and service to the company, including his guidance during the IPO and ASX listing process as well as in its first two and a half years as a listed company.
“Since listing on the ASX in November 2020, the Caspin team has established two excellent projects in Yarawindah Brook and Mount Squires,” Lawrenson said.
"It has been a pleasure to be part of a diligent and efficient team and I look forward to observing further progress in the future.”
Founding director
New chair Justin Tremain is a founding director of the company and an experienced corporate executive with extensive experience across the mineral resources sector.
He is currently the managing director of West African gold explorer Turaco Gold Ltd and non-executive chair of Future Metals NL.
Tremain previously held managing director and executive director positions at Exore Resources Ltd, Emerald Resources NL and Renaissance Minerals Ltd, and non-executive director at Carnaby Resources Ltd.
About Caspin
Caspin Resources is exploring the Yarrawonga Brook Project in Australia’s new PGE-nickel-copper West Yilgarn province and the Mount Squires Project in the West Musgrave region, one of Australia’s last mineral exploration frontiers.
At the flagship Yarawindah Brook Project, recent drilling campaigns at Yarabrook Hill have made new discoveries of PGE, nickel and copper sulphide mineralisation.
Meanwhile, the company continues to bring new targets to drill readiness by collecting geophysical and geochemical data across the project.
At Mount Squires, Caspin has identified a 40+kilometre structural corridor with significant gold mineralisation as well as a 17-kilometre extension of the West Musgrave nickel-copper corridor which hosts the One Tree Hill Prospect and Nebo-Babel Deposits along strike.
The company is conducting further soil sampling, geophysics and reconnaissance drilling along both mineralisation trends.
