Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK) is drilling at the Juanita Well Operations at the expanded Bradbury Area of Interest (AOI) within the Arbuckle Uplift-Ardmore Basin in Oklahoma.
The drill was mobilised to the well site, rigged up and tested, and Juanita has spudded, with its surface hole already drilled, cased and cemented.
Back drilling again
The company reports that operations are proceeding to schedule, safely and without incident.
Drilling of the straight hole section is proceeding to plan, with the well currently around 2,000 feet true vertical depth (TVD).
Managing director David Prentice said: “It is great to be back drilling again, with the Edge Services rig drilling ahead on the Juanita Well in our Bradbury AOI.
“We are very much looking forward to seeing and reporting on the results of sampling and logging of the numerous potentially productive zones that we expect to intersect as we drill ahead to our planned target depth.
“Success with this well will provide real momentum and confidence for further expansion of this exciting new AOI in Murray County.”
About the Juanita Well
