Brookside Energy Ltd (ASX:BRK, OTC:RDFEF) has completed drilling of the intermediate section of Iginla Well, the first of four wells to be drilled as part of the Flames-Maroons Development Plan (FMDP) in the core of the southern SCOOP Play in Oklahoma’s Anadarko Basin.

Casing has been set and cemented in place at a measured depth of approximately 7,800 feet at Iginia as operations continue safely, on budget and on time.

Brookside is now making preparations to drill out the casing and begin drilling of the curve prior to drilling of the lateral section.

The Sanford Pad and the four FMDP wells - Fleury, Maroons and Iginla Wells (to be drilled from Sanford Pad) and Rocket Well (to be drilled from Flames Well pad). Also shown are Continental Resources’ Courbet Wells full field development showing the strong performance of the Woodford wells (names ending with HXW) and Sycamore wells (ending in HXM).

About the FMDP

The FMDP is a multi-well drilling program targeting the highly productive Sycamore and Woodford formations in the SCOOP area of the southern Anadarko Basin.

Of the four wells in the multi-well drilling program, three are being drilled from the Sanford Pad - the Fleury, Maroons and Iginla wells.

Once these wells have been drilled and cased the drill rig will move to the existing Flames Well pad and drill the fourth well, the Rocket Well.
