July 15 (Reuters) - Aurizon Holdings Ltd AZJ.AX :

* Aurizon welcomes positive vote for c&m enterprise agreement AZJ.AX

* Approximately 1,500 Aurizon employees will receive a 4% pay increase each year for three years in return for major productivity improvements

* Says new enterprise agreement will be lodged with the fair work commission

* 82.7 % of employees who voted were in favour of the proposed agreement in the ballot that ran from 6 - 15 July 2015

* Says agreement also addresses a number of legacy provisions that are generally not found in contemporary Australian workplace agreements

* Says the results of the ballot were 886 votes for the ea and 185 votes against

* Agremeent will be in force seven days after approval by the fwc

* Balance of Queensland-based award employees are covered by the outstanding train crew and transport operators agreement

* Says proposed agreement will go to ballot from 20 - 27 July 2015

* Has reached an in-principle agreement with unions on the proposed agreement, covering approximately 1,700 employees
