Blue Star Helium Ltd (ASX:BNL, OTC:BSNLF) has completed site works at the location of the planned Bolling #4 SESW development well at its high-grade Voyager helium project in Las Animas County, Colorado.
The company reports that the hydro spudder rig is now mobilising to site to set the conductor after which the well will be ready for the main rig arrival.
This well, Bolling #4 SESW, is one of four additional wells that Blue Star received regulatory approval to drill in recent weeks that also includes Daniel 08 SWNE, Bolling 04 NWSE, Bolling 09 NWNW.
Bolling #4 SESW is the second development well location that has been prepared at the Voyager development, which is the company’s maiden development project.
The BBB #33 development well has already spudded. That well’s shallow hole section has been successfully cased and cemented in preparation for the arrival of the main drilling rig that will drill into the Lyons helium production reservoir target.
Previously in November 2021, the BBB#1 well tested the Voyager prospect and encountered a calculated air-free gas concentration of 8.8% helium in a 134 feet gas column interpreted in the Lyons formation.
