Bellevue Gold Ltd (ASX:BGL) has certainly struck gold at its flagship Bellevue Gold Project in Western Australia, with infill drilling in the Bellevue South and Armand Main areas returning exceptionally high-grade results.
Sitting well above the reserve grade of 6 g/t gold, the drilling assays included gold hits as high as 10.2 metres at 61.1 g/t gold from 114.8 metres of depth, 18.4 metres at 52.9 g/t from 89.6 metres and 11.7 metres at 47.9 g/t from 110.7 metres.
“These results provide a valuable insight into what we can expect as mining ramps up,” Bellevue Gold managing director Darren Stralow said.
“The grades are well above those in the reserve estimation and demonstrate why we are very confident about meeting our key targets as we move into production.
“The project remains comfortably on time, with first production set for the coming quarter and our focus is on meeting our targets and ramping up in line with our strategy.”

Bellevue is on track to begin first gold production next quarter, having reached the Bellevue South work area in its ore development work and now with the first two development headings underway and mining high-grade development ore.
The company has begun stoping at the Upper Armand area with five development levels open, providing run-of-mine (RoM) material in advance of gold production.
All major components of the plant have been installed, and all works are on track to deliver production in the December quarter of this year.
