archTIS Ltd has received its second work order from KPMG Australian Technologies Solutions (KTech) to the value of A$759,000 for data-related architecture consulting services including data taxonomy, modelling and security for a Defence Data Program.

AR9 continues to work well with the defence sector, marked by a growing number of contracts in the space.

The follow-up work order with KTech follows a separate A$7 million contract in June 2022.

This relationship with KTech is important as it is seen by Australian Assistant Minister for Defence Andrew Hastie as the preferred systems integrator to lead a consortium of vendors, including Oracle (NYSE:ORCL), Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), archTIS and others, to deliver the investments outlined in the government’s data strategy.

The Defence contract with KTech is expected to run until June 2024.

Service delivery

The global provider of innovative software solutions for the secure collaboration of sensitive information has been contracted through KTech to supply services in support of foundational secure data design services for Defence.

This second work order brings the total contracted value to A$988,730 since November 2022, with the work order term to run until June 30, 2023.

Work orders can be terminated with 30 days prior written notice, with the obligation to pay for services up to the effective date of termination.

AR9 managing director and CEO Daniel Lai said of the new order: “archTIS is pleased to be awarded this new work order and grow in partnership with KTech to support the Australian Department of Defence’s secure data initiatives.

“This cements archTIS as a key partner to KTech in delivering important Defence data outcomes demonstrating continued growth in a key strategic account.

"The work we are doing in Defence with KTech will unlock future opportunities for archTIS in the large Defence market for future product sales.”
