Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN) has submitted a notice of intent (NoI) to re-enter wells at the Green River Lithium Project in Utah to facilitate resource definition drilling for the project.
The project has demonstrated positive geological features – backed up by drilling records – that indicated brine flows to surface from porous Mississippian units without pumping in some wells.

Brines to be sampled for metallurgical testing
Apart from drilling to deliver a maiden JORC-compliant resource estimate at Green River, Anson intends to sample brine at the project for metallurgical testing to determine if it’s suitable for the company’s direct lithium extraction process.

The company will also run a parallel resource drilling campaign on the adjacent Paradox Lithium Project, exploring the western region of the flagship tenure.
The results from both programs will contribute to an increase in ASN’s global lithium resource in the Paradox Basin, which the company intends to leverage to meet growing demand for lithium concentrate.
