American Rare Earths Ltd (ASX:ARR, OTCQB:ARRNF) has appointed Jose Rico as its new United States-based chief financial officer.
The company said Rico brings more than 22 years of corporate finance and accounting experience to American Rare Earths.
He has previously served as the global head of management company finance at mining-focused global alternative investment firm Resource Capital Funds and as managing director of corporate accounting at The Charles Schwab Corporation (NYSE:SCHW).
“We are very excited to have Jose join our team as an integral part of the company’s US transformation and part of our new management team to be based in Colorado,” American Rare Earths president Melissa Sanderson said.
“I look forward to working closely with him as we establish a stronger presence in the United States.”
Rico commented in a statement: “I am thrilled to be joining American Rare Earths at such an interesting and exciting time and look forward to contributing to the company’s continued success.”
He replaces interim CFO Mark Terry, who has held that position since late January 2023.
