Aldoro Resources Ltd (ASX:ARN) has moved to pre-drill trench sampling over possible drill locations after completing a ground magnetic survey at the Kameelburg Rare Earth Elements (REE) and Niobium Project in Namibia.
The trenching program is aimed at evaluating geochemical anomalies in addition to providing more reliable information for the company’s forthcoming drilling program.
To enhance drill targeting
Assays will be expected to enhance drill location targeting and improve understanding around the correlation between the Kameelburg carbonatite magnetic signature and associated content of REE and niobium derived from completed rock chip and soil surveys.
Trenching locations versus magnetic signature.
It is expected the trenching program will encompass seven trenches and will be completed within the next fortnight with REE and niobium assay data to follow shortly thereafter.
Ground survey
Aldoro has recently completed a detailed ground magnetic survey with a 50 x 10-metre grid density.
The total survey area was about 2.6 square kilometres and covered the entire carbonatite intrusive.
Critical minerals portfolio
Aldoro has a portfolio of critical minerals including rare earth, lithium, rubidium and base metal projects.
The company’s suite of projects include the Kameelburg REE & Niobium Project in Namibia and in Western Australia, the Wyemandoo Lithium-Rubidium-Tungsten Project, the Niobe Lithium-Rubidium-Tantalum Project and the Narndee Igneous Complex Project.
