Aldoro Resources Ltd (ASX:ARN) has received further encouragement from its Kameelburg Project in Namibia with sampling assays indicating significant concentrations of total rare earth oxides (TREO) and niobium oxide (Nb2O5).
The latest results from samples have revealed TREO grades ranging from 1.29% to an impressive 6.60%, with niobium oxide measuring up to 0.85%.
Diamond drilling to follow
The assays are part of Aldoro's ongoing exploration efforts, which include preparations for a maiden diamond drilling program expected to cover 2,000 metres.
These findings come from 22 rock samples collected from various mapped beforsite dykes within the Kameelburg carbonatite, a large carbonatitic body currently under detailed geological mapping.
The mapping focuses on high-interest sections along the southern and eastern margins of the carbonatite plug, which has shown substantial potential for rare earth element mineralisation.
Delineating REE and niobium
This program aims to further delineate the concentration and distribution of rare earth elements and niobium across the project area.
The company's exploration strategy also involves establishing necessary infrastructure such as access feeder tracks and water bores to support the drilling activities.
The program at Kameelburg is expected to contribute significantly to the company's portfolio of critical minerals projects, which also includes the Wyemandoo lithium-rubidium-tungsten project and the Niobe lithium-rubidium-tantalum project in Western Australia.
