Aeris Resources Ltd (ASX:AIS) has significantly increased the group mineral resource across its Tritton and Round Oak Minerals assets – Jaguar, North Queensland and Stockman projects – by 31 million to 51.9 million tonnes, and the ore reserve by 10.5 million tonnes to 16.5 million.
The mineral resource estimate (MRE) for Tritton Operations in NSW was increased 50% from the previous year to 344,000 tonnes of copper metal, predominately because of the new mineral resource for Constellation and successful resource definition drilling programs at Budgerygar and Murrawombie deposits.
Aeris also boosted the MRE for the Cracow Gold Project in Queensland by 11% to 455,000 ounces of gold.
Changes in group resources and reserves
The majority of the resource increase for Aeris was generated by the acquisition of the Round Oak Minerals assets and the addition of the Constellation mineral resource estimate at Tritton.
Changes in group minerals resource tonnage relative to June 30, 2021.
Additions to the ore reserve – which grew by 10.5 million tonnes – are also based mostly on the Round Oak Minerals acquisition, including both copper and gold deposits.
Changes to the group ore reserve were as follows:
- Ore reserve reduced by 500,000 tonnes after depletion at Tritton mine;
- Increase of 100,000 tonnes after depletion at Cracow mine;
- Increase of 700,000 tonnes with addition of Jaguar ore reserves;
- Increase of 500,000 tonnes with addition of Mt Colin ore reserves; and
- Increase of 9.6 million tonnes after addition of Stockman project ore reserves.
