Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.34% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which fell 0.48% or 2.5 points to trade at 515.0 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (COP:TDC) fell 0.78% or 0.33 points to end at 42.24 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was down 1.37% or 8.0 points to 575.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which fell 4.53% or 16.1 points to trade at 339.3 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) declined 3.78% or 14.5 points to end at 368.8 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was down 3.37% or 11.6 points to 332.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 132 to 21 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.66% or 1.10 to $40.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.48% or 1.16 to hit $45.47 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.53% or 6.10 to trade at $1159.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.08% to 6.5682, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.87% at 94.94.
