Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.39% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 0.69% or 5.5 points to trade at 799.5 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.23% or 0.09 points to end at 39.40 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.22% or 0.60 points to 272.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 2.53% or 7.5 points to trade at 288.7 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 2.21% or 3.3 points to end at 146.1 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 1.94% or 4.9 points to 247.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 45 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 3.53% or 1.62 to $44.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 3.46% or 1.66 to hit $46.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.05% or 14.05 to trade at $1330.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.6433, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4517.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 95.39.
