SINGAPORE, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Thailand's baht turned firmer to hit its strongest level in more than one year after data showed the economy expanded faster than expected.
The baht THB=TH gained as much as 0.2 percent to 34.685 per dollar, its strongest since July 22, 2015 after the data. reported growth of 0.8 percent in the second quarter from the previous three months. A poll had forecast 0.5 percent.
