SYDNEY, Oct 29 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar NZD=D4 briefly dropped around half a cent on Thursday after the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) held rates steady as expected at its monetary policy review, but reiterated its easing bias.
The kiwi dollar briefly fell as far as $0.6622, from around $0.6670 before the central bank decision. urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nW9N10V027
It then reverted losses to be at $0.6685, though it was still down around 1 percent on the day, having come under pressure overnight on renewed expectations the U.S. Federal Reserve could raise interest rates in December.
