SYDNEY, July 23 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar NZD=D4 jumped around half a cent after the Reserve Bank of New Zealand cut interest rates by 25 basis points.

The kiwi dollar climbed to a peak of $0.6650, from $0.6570 before the central bank rate policy decision, to last trade at $0.6612. It had touched a six-year trough of $0.6498 last week.
