WELLINGTON, July 12 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar NZD=D4 was quoted at $0.7217, down 1.25 percent in early Asia-Pacific trade on Tuesday.
The Kiwi began to reverse gains made on on Friday and over the weekend that had been sparked by a central bank speech which alluded to concerns about rising house prices being a possible reason to hold benchmark interest rates.
