Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Energy, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 2.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Bw Lpg (OSLO:BWLPG), which rose 0.09% or 0.05 points to trade at 53.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Orkla ASA (OSLO:ORK) fell 0.82% or 0.50 points to end at 60.50 and Yara International ASA (OSLO:YAR) was down 0.96% or 3.4 points to 351.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aker Solutions OL (OSLO:AKSOL), which fell 7.13% or 2.50 points to trade at 32.57 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OSLO:SDRL) declined 6.97% or 4.3 points to end at 58.0 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OSLO:PGS) was down 5.41% or 1.92 points to 33.58.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 135 to 38 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.28% or 0.60 to $46.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.55% or 0.79 to hit $49.90 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.34% or 3.80 to trade at $1120.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.35% to 9.2455, while USD/NOK rose 0.37% to 8.3125.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.09% at 96.40.
