Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Telecoms and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which rose 5.48% or 8.0 points to trade at 154.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) added 4.32% or 5.6 points to end at 135.1 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 3.96% or 1.03 points to 27.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which fell 2.05% or 5.2 points to trade at 248.5 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 1.95% or 10.5 points to end at 528.0 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa) was down 1.68% or 1.50 points to 87.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 256 to 190 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.96% or 0.87 to $45.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.04% or 0.96 to hit $48.30 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1131.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.87% to 9.4313, while USD/SEK fell 0.94% to 8.3813.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 96.02.
