Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Technology, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which rose 2.92% or 2.15 points to trade at 75.70 at the close. Meanwhile, ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 2.81% or 4.5 points to end at 164.8 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.79% or 4.1 points to 233.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which fell 2.02% or 1.25 points to trade at 60.65 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.40% or 1.60 points to end at 112.80 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 1.32% or 1.15 points to 86.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 356 to 220 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.32% or 1.15 to 86.10.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.25% or 0.38 to $30.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.81% or 0.23 to hit $28.70 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.30 to trade at $1089.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.10% to 9.3561, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 8.5930.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 99.17.
