Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (COP:WDH), which rose 5.50% or 29.0 points to trade at 556.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) added 1.03% or 4.0 points to end at 391.9 and Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb) was up 0.96% or 4.5 points to 472.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 1.49% or 9.5 points to trade at 629.5 at the close. ISS A/S (COP:ISS) declined 0.87% or 2.00 points to end at 227.00 and TDC A/S (COP:TDC) was down 0.83% or 0.37 points to 44.25.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 73 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.58% or 0.25 to $42.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.29% or 0.14 to hit $49.05 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.50% or 5.60 to trade at $1118.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.7364, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.21% at 96.81.
