Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.63% to hit a new 6-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.69% or 5.9 points to trade at 355.8 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) added 1.48% or 3.7 points to end at 253.7 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.46% or 5.5 points to 381.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 1.17% or 3.4 points to trade at 288.4 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.53% or 1.50 points to end at 282.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 0.45% or 50 points to 11160.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 56 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.45% or 0.22 to $49.01 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.35% or 0.18 to hit $51.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.95% or 12.15 to trade at $1265.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.70% to 6.7981, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 98.62.
