Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.12% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 0.39% or 0.15 points to trade at 38.81 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.15% or 0.3 points to end at 197.8 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 0.05% or 0.1 points to 216.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 2.29% or 215 points to trade at 9155 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.18% or 17.5 points to end at 785.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 2.16% or 13.5 points to 610.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 34 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.63% or 0.82 to $49.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.81% or 0.95 to hit $51.56 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.55 to trade at $1251.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.04% to 6.6713, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4407.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 96.84.
