Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which rose 5.30% or 1.50 points to trade at 29.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 4.38% or 11.17 points to end at 266.25 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was up 3.92% or 0.65 points to 17.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which fell 7.02% or 2.40 points to trade at 31.80 at the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 5.42% or 2.64 points to end at 46.10 and City Cement Co (SE:3003) was down 2.66% or 0.64 points to 23.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) rose to all time highs; rising 4.38% or 11.17 to 266.25.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.11% or 0.57 to $50.64 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.95% or 0.55 to hit $56.55 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 2.47% or 28.00 to trade at $1103.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.02% to 4.0636, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 98.17.
