Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Capital Goods, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO), which rose 1.15% or 0.70 points to trade at 61.50 at the close. Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) added 1.13% or 0.41 points to end at 36.64 and Yara International ASA (OL:YAR) was up 0.85% or 2.5 points to 297.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which lost 6.33% or 2.61 points to trade at 38.65 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 4.43% or 0.05 points to end at 1.01 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) shed 3.38% or 4.6 points to 131.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 78 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.99% or 0.49 to $49.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.91% or 0.46 to hit $50.01 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1269.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.36% to 9.0400, while USD/NOK fell 0.00% to 8.2655.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.23% at 98.69.
