Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 3.96% or 9.3 points to trade at 244.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) added 3.68% or 28.5 points to end at 803.5 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was up 3.60% or 4.4 points to 126.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH), which rose 0.03% or 0.1 points to trade at 377.0 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) added 0.24% or 0.9 points to end at 369.4 and Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) was up 1.24% or 2.5 points to 204.2.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 116 to 38 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.35% or 1.07 to $46.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.82% or 1.35 to hit $49.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.29% or 3.30 to trade at $1133.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.6743, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4619.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 96.27.
