Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Multi Investment and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150), which rose 10.62% or 1.45 points to trade at 15.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) added 10.00% or 4.40 points to end at 48.40 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) was up 9.93% or 2.80 points to 31.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030), which fell 10.10% or 4.00 points to trade at 35.60 at the close. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 9.79% or 4.10 points to end at 37.80 and Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) was down 9.66% or 1.00 points to 9.35.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 95 to 71.
Shares in Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.79% or 4.10 to 37.80. Shares in Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200) fell to 5-year lows; falling 9.66% or 1.00 to 9.35.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.56% or 0.17 to $30.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.71% or 0.20 to hit $28.73 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1090.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.15% to 4.0856, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 99.13.
