Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which rose 0.86% or 0.75 points to trade at 87.85 at the close. Meanwhile, ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 0.77% or 1.4 points to end at 183.5 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 0.68% or 0.60 points to 88.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 1.31% or 0.40 points to trade at 30.20 at the close. SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) declined 1.00% or 1.5 points to end at 148.5 and Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) was down 0.86% or 0.55 points to 63.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 315 to 255 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 0.77% or 1.4 to 183.5.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.37% or 1.02 to $42.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.15% or 0.53 to hit $44.94 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.21% or 13.00 to trade at $1057.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.23% to 9.2485, while USD/SEK fell 0.07% to 8.7288.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.25% at 100.11.
