Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 2.82% or 8.0 points to trade at 292.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.11% or 190 points to end at 9205 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 2.10% or 180 points to 8765 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 2.20% or 9.7 points to trade at 431.9 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.45% or 3.3 points to end at 224.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 1.12% or 1.3 points to 114.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 87 to 63 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.78% or 0.86 to $47.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.06% or 0.52 to hit $48.38 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1211.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.04% to 7.0042, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4396.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 101.13.
