Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 3.75%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 6.83% or 22.3 points to trade at 348.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) added 6.11% or 43.0 points to end at 747.0 and Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) was up 5.46% or 10.5 points to 202.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which fell 9.54% or 26.3 points to trade at 249.3 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) added 0.71% or 3.5 points to end at 498.5 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was up 0.75% or 4.0 points to 540.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 140 to 16 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.29% or 1.26 to $39.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.96% or 0.83 to hit $43.52 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.41% or 16.30 to trade at $1137.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.80% to 6.5390, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4637.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.33% at 94.62.
