Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Real Estate and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.35%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which rose 3.21% or 350 points to trade at 11250 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) added 3.11% or 330 points to end at 10950 and Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb) was up 1.66% or 7.6 points to 466.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (COP:ISS), which rose 0.22% or 0.50 points to trade at 229.90 at the close. Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) added 0.23% or 0.3 points to end at 130.2 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was up 0.31% or 2.0 points to 644.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 110 to 41 and 5 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.55% or 0.71 to $45.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.81% or 0.90 to hit $48.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.59% or 17.80 to trade at $1103.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.48% to 6.6929, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4615.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.50% at 96.32.
