Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Telecoms and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 11.45% or 0.75 points to trade at 7.30 at the close. Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) added 6.33% or 0.6 points to end at 9.4 and Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC) was up 5.84% or 0.09 points to 1.54 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG), which lost 1.59% or 2.10 points to trade at 130.00 in late trade. Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) declined 1.38% or 0.4 points to end at 28.5 and Telenor ASA (OL:TEL) shed 1.38% or 1.9 points to 135.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 102 to 70 and 17 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.45% or 0.19 to $41.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.48% or 0.21 to hit $44.39 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.64% or 20.50 to trade at $1227.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.19% to 9.2667, while USD/NOK fell 0.11% to 8.2257.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 94.88.
