Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Real Estate and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice (TA:NICE), which rose 2.89% or 700 points to trade at 24950 at the close. Meanwhile, Frutarom (TA:FRUT) added 2.31% or 450 points to end at 19950 and Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) was up 0.70% or 420 points to 60720 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which fell 6.00% or 52.8 points to trade at 827.0 at the close. Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) declined 3.73% or 115 points to end at 2966 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was down 3.42% or 2450 points to 69150.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 201 to 124 and 129 ended unchanged.
Shares in Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) fell to 5-year lows; down 3.73% or 115 to 2966.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.95% or 1.25 to $30.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.36% or 1.15 to hit $33.09 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.40 to trade at $1128.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.21% to 3.9641, while EUR/ILS rose 0.36% to 4.3214.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.00% at 99.05.
