Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Cement, Industrial Investment and Petrochemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which rose 9.27% or 0.70 points to trade at 8.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) added 8.88% or 0.95 points to end at 11.65 and Saudi Real Estate Co. (SE:4020) was up 8.87% or 1.80 points to 22.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which fell 10.33% or 7.00 points to trade at 60.75 at the close. National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) declined 8.69% or 2.25 points to end at 23.65 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) was down 7.05% or 0.85 points to 11.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 35.
Shares in National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) fell to 52-week lows; falling 8.69% or 2.25 to 23.65.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.56% or 0.18 to $32.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.09% or 0.37 to hit $33.56 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.52% or 5.70 to trade at $1103.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.34% to 4.0879, while USD/SAR rose 0.06% to 3.7553.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 98.64.
