Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 6.00% or 0.216 points to trade at 3.816 at the close. Meanwhile, Elisa Oyj (HE:ELI1V) added 3.18% or 1.06 points to end at 34.37 and Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) was up 3.04% or 0.92 points to 31.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 11.29% or 0.745 points to trade at 5.855 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FUM1V) declined 1.94% or 0.28 points to end at 14.17 and TeliaSonera AB (HE:TLS1V) was down 1.48% or 0.064 points to 4.268.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 102 to 82 and 3 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for April delivery was down 4.63% or 1.67 to $34.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 5.79% or 1.95 to hit $31.68 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.95% or 10.60 to trade at $1127.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.61% to 1.0899, while EUR/GBP fell 0.34% to 0.7580.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.52% at 99.08.
