Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 11.43% or 122.0 points to trade at 1189.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 6.93% or 15.7 points to end at 242.1 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.27% or 3.0 points to 240.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 2.57% or 6.50 points to trade at 246.10 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.69% or 14.0 points to end at 816.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 1.17% or 5.9 points to 499.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 76 to 62 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.76% or 0.80 to $44.54 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.32% or 0.62 to hit $46.24 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.35% or 4.55 to trade at $1303.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.7004, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4398.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 97.21.
