Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Multi Investment and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 1.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which rose 11.00% or 4.30 points to trade at 43.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) added 10.27% or 4.50 points to end at 48.30 and Electrical Industries Co (SE:1303) was up 9.81% or 2.10 points to 23.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jarir Marketing Co (SE:4190), which fell 2.05% or 2.50 points to trade at 119.25 at the close. Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040) declined 1.67% or 0.40 points to end at 23.55 and Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) was down 1.33% or 0.15 points to 11.15.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 142 to 16 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Hollandi Bank (SE:1040) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.67% or 0.40 to 23.55.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.94% or 0.85 to $29.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.14% or 1.01 to hit $33.19 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.36% or 4.40 to trade at $1203.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 4.1789, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.00% at 96.90.
