Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 2.09% or 175 points to trade at 8550 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.69% or 140 points to end at 8435 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.72% or 4.0 points to 559.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 5.22% or 1.65 points to trade at 29.95 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) declined 3.25% or 12.5 points to end at 372.2 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was down 2.89% or 25.0 points to 841.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 105 to 54 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; down 5.22% or 1.65 to 29.95.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 3.67% or 1.19 to $33.48 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 3.68% or 1.25 to hit $35.18 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.30 to trade at $1114.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.51% to 6.8163, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4630.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.45% at 98.58.
