Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Transport and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which rose 9.59% or 2.60 points to trade at 29.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) added 3.52% or 0.75 points to end at 22.05 and Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) was up 2.61% or 0.80 points to 31.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which fell 9.31% or 1.75 points to trade at 17.05 at the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 9.27% or 2.15 points to end at 21.05 and Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) was down 8.06% or 1.35 points to 15.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 125 to 41.
Shares in Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) rose to 5-year highs; rising 9.59% or 2.60 to 29.70.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.82% or 0.34 to $41.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.07% or 0.03 to hit $44.69 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.58% or 6.20 to trade at $1070.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.08% to 3.9888, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 99.85.
